Obama Foundation Names Its First Leader (Transitions)

(August 9 2019, The Chronicle of PhilanthropyAdewale (Wally) Adeyemo, former deputy national security adviser for international economics and deputy director of the National Economic Council, has been named the organization’s first president. Adeyemo joined President Obama’s administration in 2015, and since 2017 he has served as a senior adviser at BlackRock and the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
