Santora Nonprofit Financial Seminar

  • November 08, 2017
  • 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Christiana Hilton, Newark, DE

From Philanthropic Advisor Santora CPA:

Whether you’re an Executive Director of a not-for-profit, a controller, a grant writer, a nonprofit board member, or anyone who relies on and needs to understand an organization’s financial statements, things are about to change.

Effective for fiscal years beginning after December 15, 2017, not-for-profit financial statements and how revenue is recognized are going to look dramatically different, and you need to understand the changes and the effect they will have on the story you are trying to tell. We want to help!

You are cordially invited to a free two-session seminar we are holding on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, in the Le Chameleon Room at the Christiana Hilton in Newark from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A full breakfast will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Session one will focus on instructing you about the changes and understanding their financial reporting impact. This session should be attended by all not-for-profit financial statement users.

Session two will dig deeper and is meant for the organization’s financial team members. This session will help assist with the proper accounting for these changes and preparing the financial statements. Everyone is welcome to attend both sessions.

If you are a CPA, you will also earn up to four hours of CPE credit.

Please RSVP to Santora (302-737-6200) by Monday, October 16th and indicate if you will be able to attend one or both of the sessions.
