  • July 23, 2018

The National Institute for Health Care Management Foundation is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to improving the health of Americans by spurring workable and creative solutions to pressing healthcare problems.

As part of this mission, the foundation supports timely healthcare journalism that informs efforts to improve the health of Americans and that examines emerging health issues and their implications for cost, quality, and access.

Grants support health reporting, educational opportunities for healthcare reporters, and support for documentary films and their public engagement campaigns. Through the program, the foundation is making a total of up to $250,000 available and expects to fund six to eight projects.

Letters of Inquiry must be received no later than July 23. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal.

The foundation welcomes applications from individual journalists as well as from all types of organizations and institutions, including both nonprofit and for-profit entities.
