2018 Funders Institute

  • July 23, 2018
  • July 25, 2018
  • Washington, D.C.

Held in conjunction with the National Conference on Ending Homelessness, the Institute will share how funders are uniquely positioned to help prevent homelessness and discuss how funders are thinking about prevention and how working intentionally with other systems is critical for success.

As funders increasingly turn their attention to preventing homelessness, we must also consider what it means to be both intentional and intersectional.

Join us at the 2018 Funders Institute, held in conjunction with the National Conference on Ending Homelessness, to learn how funders are uniquely positioned to help prevent homelessness. We will discuss how funders are thinking about prevention and how working intentionally with other systems is critical for success. Together, we’ll explore the intersections of homelessness and health, workforce development, criminal justice, and more.

Ending homelessness is too important for us to continue working alone. It is more important than ever for us to start working together, across silos, to strengthen other systems and prevent homelessness before it starts. Join this conversation to learn how other systems are thinking about housing stability and how your work is already helping to prevent homelessness. Throughout the day you will also hear from funders what they’re doing to prevent homelessness in their communities and specific ideas you can take home.

Don’t forget, this year’s Funders Institute will continue throughout the conference with more opportunities to connect with your funder peers and learn about what’s happening across the country.
