American College of Trial Lawyers Invites Applications for 2019 Gumpert Award

  • September 21, 2018

The American College of Trial Lawyers is accepting applications for its 2019 Emil Gumpert Award.

The award was established in honor of the late Honorable Emil Gumpert, chancellor-founder of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Judge Gumpert, throughout his more than half-century professional career as an eminent trial lawyer, state bar president, and trial judge, substantially and effectively devoted himself to the administration of justice and to the improvement of trial practice.

In his honor, a single grant of up to $100,000 will be awarded to a program, public or private, whose principal purpose is to maintain and improve the administration of justice. Programs may be associated with courts, law schools, bar associations, or any other organization that provides such a program.

See the American College of Trial Lawyers website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
