Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) is the local affiliate of the country’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider. Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) operates 10 health centers throughout Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. Nationwide, Planned Parenthood affiliates operate more than 600 health centers, providing medical services and sexuality education for millions of individuals (adults and teens) each year. We also work with allies worldwide to ensure that all people have the right and the means to meet their sexual and reproductive health care needs.

Job Summary

PPSP is searching for a Vice President of Development. This is a senior management level position responsible to lead efforts to achieve the goals of PPSP’s multi-pronged development program, including close collaboration with the President & CEO and Board of Directors and management of all aspects of major gifts fundraising, institutional relations, planned giving, and development events. This is a 35-hour/week, benefits-eligible, full-time position, reporting to the President and CEO.

Responsibilities

A Bachelor’s Degree is required; Masters preferred. Also required - 8+ years of experience as a senior fundraising professional, social services or healthcare organizations experience a plus; a successful track record in cultivating donors and securing major gifts; demonstrated success working with boards of directors, committee members, other volunteers; a minimum 5 years of management experience, including supervisory responsibilities; outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and management skills with attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at the same time; experience working within a federated national organization is a plus; and must possess proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working within donor databases (Salesforce a plus).
