Webinar: Leveraging the WIOA to Expand Employment Opportunities For Individuals Experiencing Homelessness

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) provides some important opportunities for a variety of populations that have high-barriers to employment, including people experiencing homelessness. Melissa Young, Director of National Initiatives on Poverty and Economic Opportunity at Heartland Alliance, will explore how WIOA can be used to help people experiencing homelessness and key ways funders can help communities leverage the local and state WIOA planning process to increase employment opportunities.
