Serving on the board of a non-profit is a rewarding experience that allows individuals to fulfill the need to give back and advance causes for which those individuals are passionate. As with most rewarding activities, there is also a component of risk associated with board service. Making financial decisions, hosting fundraisers, and organizing events based in physical activity, all represent potentially dangerous situations for a non-profit organization and its individual board members.
This panel discussion event will provide attendees with the insight to identify potential risks and make the appropriate decisions regarding structuring both the organization’s liability insurance and the individual board member’s personal coverage to ensure proper protection.
