Rural Learning & Coordinating Center Advancing Health Equity Through Social & Economic Opportunity

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s (RWJF) Healthy Communities theme is interested in identifying and funding a Rural Learning and Coordinating Center (Center) (final name TBD) to work alongside RWJF, rural communities, and others in the field committed to improving rural health equity and well-being in our nation. The Center will provide systematic learning and coordination across those working nationally and regionally to advance social and economic conditions in rural communities, which ultimately lead to better health and well-being. To this end, the Center will look to better connect the work happening to improve community conditions for better health in rural America; advance the research and evidence that can support this work; and identify policy and systems solutions that support change in rural places given their unique assets and challenges.
