Reintegration/Reentry RFP, Bernard and Audre Rapoport Foundation

  • August 15, 2019

RAPFDN Web Footer (1).pngEstablished in 1986, the Bernard & Audre Rapoport Foundation has dedicated more than $73 million in grants to improve the social fabric of life.

Our mission is to meet basic human needs while building individual and social resiliency. The Foundation seeks innovative solutions to intractable and persistent problems and strives to cultivate emerging talents and promising models. The entire Rapoport Family is actively involved in the foundations operations, which has touched many lives in the areas of education, arts and culture, health, community building & social services, and democracy & civic participation.

This commitment is rooted in generations past and continues to mold our future.

The Reintegration/Reentry RFP is open until August 15, 2019.  The Foundation is eager to learn about the exciting work that is being done by people who share our interest in this topic; we are not entering this process with a settled view on the “right” or “best” approach. Our “letter of inquiry” requirement is a compact process that allows us to give you feedback before you dedicate considerable time to a full proposal. The Foundation’s capacity allows us to entertain single or multi-year proposals for $10,000 up to about $200,000. Where appropriate, applicants may apply for a smaller pilot grant or planning grant now with the potential to apply for a larger follow-up grant during a future grant cycle.
