Albertsons Companies Foundation

The Albertsons Companies Foundation provides support to nonprofit organizations that serve communities where the company's employees and customers work and live.

The Foundation generally provides support in the following areas:

• health and human services, including cancer research;
• diversity and inclusion, including programs for people with disabilities;
• youth and education, including K-12 education in schools and in out-of-school organizations;
• services for veterans;
• wellness;
• the environment;
• nutrition, including programs that promote nutrition education and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through diet; and,
• hunger issues.

Grants are generally not provided to/for:

• individuals or for-profit organizations;
• political organizations or activities;
• religious organizations for religious purposes;
• capital or building campaigns;
• advocacy programs;
• meetings, conferences, or workshops;
• sports teams or athletic competitions;
• other foundations or granting organizations; or,
• fundraising dinners, galas, or events.
