The Braitmayer Foundation

  • March 15, 2020

The Braitmayer FoundationThe Braitmayer Foundation supports innovative practices in K-12 education throughout the United States.

Of particular interest are:

  • curricular and school reform initiatives; and,
  • preparation of and professional development opportunities for teachers, particularly those that encourage people of high ability and diverse background to enter and remain in K-12 teaching.

The Foundation welcomes requests for seed grants, challenge grants, and matching grants.

Unless a small percentage of the total amount requested, normally the Foundation does not make grants for childcare, pre-kindergarten, or after-school programs, or for equipment including hardware, software, or books.

Grants are not made to/for:

  • individuals;
  • multi-year grants;
  • endowment purposes;
  • general operating support; or,
  • building programs.

Note: The Foundation also provides modest support of activities in Marion, MA, and surrounding communities that will improve the quality of life for residents in the area.
