Celebrate Urban Birds Mini-Grant Program

Celebrate Urban Birds at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology provides mini-grants to community organizations, educators, and youth throughout the United States to hold neighborhood events.

Celebrate Urban Birds offers mini-grants to support creative events that integrate the arts, gardening, community participation, etc.

Grants may be used to support a bird activity day at a local museum, after-school program, library, or community center, or fund art and gardening activities at a club, business, school, senior center, or neighborhood.

Organizations working with underserved communities are strongly encouraged to apply. No experience with birding is needed.

All applicants (even if they do not win funds to carry out their events) receive free materials and training.
