Description:

The Citi Foundation Grants Manager plays a key leadership role within the Foundation’s Operations team with responsibility for Grants Administration, Information Management, Analysis and Reporting, and IT Management.

Key Responsibilities:

Grants Administration:

Manage processing of grant applications and payments ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and corporate and foundation requirements

Drive workflow process improvements and efficiency targets while balancing requirements of program and operations staff, and regulatory compliance

Provide clear and concise grants administration policies and procedures for grantees and staff

Play a lead role in compliance audits

Manage Grants Associate(s) and Analyst(s)

Information Management, Analysis and Reporting:

Ensure integrity and quality of grant information system and data

Manage data/impact analyses for strategy and portfolio planning

Manage grant information and analysis for all internal and external reporting requirements

IT Management:

Maintain and upgrade grants management software and implement ongoing technology improvements

Ensure adherence to company-wide technology standards and policies

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

5+ years of related work experience

Nonprofit/Foundation compliance knowledge a plus

Excellent project management and communication skills

Ability to work in a high performance environment, with tight deadlines and changing priorities

Ability to design, implement, and monitors effective workflow processes and procedures

Solid knowledge of grants management software

Strong information technology skills and ability to quickly gain command of new systems

High proficiency in Excel and data analysis skills

Must be detail oriented and well organized
