Children's Theatre Foundation of America Aurand Haaris Grant and Fellowship Fund

The Children's Theatre Foundation of America advances the artistic and professional interests of theater for the young in the United States.

The Foundation's grantmaking is concerned solely with

• theater for children and youth ages 4 to 18;
• the utilization of drama or theater in education for children grades K-12; and,
• development opportunities for theater artists working in the area of theater by, with, or for children and youth.

The following funding opportunities are available:

Aurand Harris Grant and Fellowship Fund
This program provides support of up to $2,000 for small and mid-sized nonprofit theaters, as well as individual theater artists. Examples of support include the following:

• people such as playwrights, directors, designers, education directors, etc., engaged in a new initiative for a particular company or a new original play for children and youth;
• equipment such as light boards, curtains, lights, vehicles, or whatever will bring a company to a new level of quality; and,
• travel to bring collaborative teams together, participate in a conference or workshop, or take interesting people to interesting places for interesting purposes.
