Clark Charitable Trust

The Clark Charitable Trust primarily supports nonprofit organizations that focus on animal welfare. Additional support is given to small colleges, classical music organizations, and wilderness conservation. There are no geographic restrictions on the Trust's grantmaking, though a majority of their grants are given in Massachusetts.

Types of support include:

  • building funds;
  • endowments;
  • general support;
  • land and property acquisition;
  • matching grants; and,
  • project support.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES

Interested applicants should submit a request that includes a description of the organization and, if applicable, the specific program for which funds are being requested. Applicants should also include the most recent financial statements, preferably audited; the most recent Form 990, if filed; and a copy of the IRS letter confirming tax-exempt status.
