Delta Gamma Foundation: Service for Sight Grants

The Delta Gamma Foundation's Service for Sight Grants promote public awareness of blindness, visual impairment, eye health, and sight preservation.

Grants are provided to nonprofit organizations that:

• strive to enhance the lives of persons who are blind or visually impaired; 
• foster prevention and early intervention in problems affecting sight;
• support education and research involving sight preservation;
• enhance the quality of life for persons who are sight impaired; and,
• promote public awareness of blindness, visual impairment, eye health, or sight preservation.

Funded organizations must be national in scope or the organization must be a Delta Gamma affiliated school.

Grants are not provided to/for:

• political activities of any kind;
• programs that promote religious activities;
• programs that are completed before grant is awarded;
• programs which are local in scope; or,
• programs or projects inconsistent with federal, state, or local nondiscrimination ordinances regarding equal employment opportunity.
