The mission of the Navy SEAL Foundation is to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) community and its families.
The Foundation provides support directly to active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. Specific areas of interest include:
- educational support, including scholarships and grants;
- transition services;
- social and team-building event support;
- pre- and post-deployment events;
- medical support not already provided by the Navy or Tricare;
- protective, rehabilitative, and preventative health and wellness programs;
- complimentary support for NSW human performance initiatives;
- respite childcare;
- professional development workshops and symposiums;
- support for milestone events including SEAL and SWCC graduations and other advancements;
- Sailor of the Year and Junior Sailor of the Year awards;
- general tragedy assistance;
- travel support in the event of the death of an immediate family member; and,
- support for the wounded, ill, or injured.
