The focus of the Novartis Venture Funds is on the development of novel therapeutics and platforms. The Funds make equity investments in life sciences companies across biotechnology, biopharma, medical devices, and diagnostics.
In their investments the Funds look for:
- unmet need and clinical impact;
- novel proprietary science and understanding of mechanism;
- management and board experience; and,
- capital efficiency.
Support is provided in North America, Europe, Israel, and Asia and the Pacific.
The Funds consider seed investments as well as later-stage investments.
