Organic Valley Cooperative Giving Program

The Organic Valley Cooperative Giving Program is committed to making a positive impact in the world, from the company's local communities to the larger communities that work to protect values shared by the Organic Valley Family of Farms.

Support is provided to nonprofit organizations that champion one or more of the following categories:

• supporting organic family farmers, including increasing professional development opportunities in organic agriculture for family farmers, empowering youth in agriculture, preserving family farm culture, and protecting farmers’ livelihood;
   
• growing organic food systems, including advancing organic agriculture and food sovereignty in both rural and urban areas and initiatives focused on organic research, education, and advocacy;
   
• promoting environmental sustainability, including promoting and advocating for the stewardship and protection of natural resources;
   
• fostering organic health and wellness, including organic education and improving access to organic food, with priority given to initiatives that benefit children’s health and education; and,
   
• doing good in local communities, including empowering communities to strengthen their local economies, creating and enriching local and organic food systems, and increasing community well-being.

Support is also provide through the following programs:

• The Farmers Advocating for Organics Fund supports nonprofit organizations and research institutions that promote projects or programs dedicated to furthering organic education, organic farming, product research, and organic advocacy.
   
• The Food Donations program provides support to organizations addressing food insecurity.
