Dear Friends,

Foundations are making unprecedented commitments to impact investing, putting more of their capital to work to challenge inequity, stem climate change, and drive other social and environmental impact. As the field continues to rapidly grow, what will it take to ensure that the impact investing movement remains laser focused on impact?

Mission Investors Exchange look forward to tackling these issues with you at thier upcoming National Conference — Amplifying Impact — in Atlanta on May 11-13, 2020. As a Conference led by and for foundations and their partners, Amplifying Impact will explore the unique leadership role of philanthropy, focusing on our four Conference themes:

  • Centering on Impact

  • Advancing Racial Equity

  • Mobilizing with Urgency

  • Going All-In

One of the most anticipated events for impact investors in philanthropy, Amplifying Impact is an active, collaborative space to network with peers, share real impact investing examples, hear from leaders in the field, and so much more.

Stay tuned for more MIE and National Conference updates in the coming weeks and months, including the launch of registration. We look forward to partnering with you on Amplifying Impact!

MIE is pleased to be supporting our members and partners who have established a burgeoning impact investing ecosystem in Atlanta and hopes our 2020 National Conference can bring additional focus to the region. Some of our members have expressed concerns about the recent legislation passed in Georgia and elsewhere in the region. We are committed to engaging with our members and partners on critical social and environmental issues and to developing programming at our National Conference on the role impact investing can play in addressing them. Please reach out to MIE's Managing Director, Nhadine Leung, with any thoughts or questions you may have.
