Bess Spiva Timmons Foundation

The Bess Spiva Timmons Foundation supports nonprofit organizations throughout the U.S.  

The Foundation provides grants to organizations who have existing programs in the areas of:

• education;
• health;
• medical research; and,
• the arts.

Funding is also provided to programs with an emphasis on:

• minority groups;
• social services; and,
• ecology.

The Foundation also considers experimental ventures in the aforementioned areas of interest. Preference is given to smaller grassroots organizations which have limited financial assistance.

Funding is not provided to/for:

• individuals;
• foreign organizations;
• operating expenses;
• endowments;
• major building projects;
• major acquisitions; or,
• permanent commitments of support.
