The Unitarian Universalist Service Committee's Human Rights Innovation Fellowship was designed to bring about systemic change by creating, nurturing, or spreading an innovation in human rights.
The 2019 Fellowship topic is “The Right to Safety in the Northern Triangle of Central America.” Nonprofit and non-governmental organizations throughout the United States, Mexico, and Latin America that have an innovative idea to promote the right to safety in the northern triangle of Central America are invited to apply. Projects should focus on addressing the root causes of forced displacement.
Innovations may be legal strategies, methods of mobilization, methods of community outreach, technological or financial products or apps, path-breaking applied research, advances in corporate accountability, or other new approaches.
