The United States Handball Association (USHA) supports youth handball programs throughout the United States.
Programs may be organized within school instruction, after-school programs, or community, club, YMCA, or Boys & Girls Club programs.
USHA awards grants in two categories:
Annual First Ace Grants These grants aim to provide new and emerging handball initiatives with financial and equipment support to aid in their growth towards strong and sustainable handball programs. The grants target new development in clubs, youth service organizations, schools, and colleges with the ultimate goal of creating self-supporting programs that continually promote the game to new players and markets.
Requests for new or emerging programs or existing programs can be made to assist with administration, equipment, or other startup-related costs. Requests should be made by the primary coach or administrator for the program.
Other Grants Support is also available to offset the costs related to running a successful handball program. Funded activities fall into the following categories:
These grants each have their own form and application process.
