The mission of the ACVO Vision for Animals Foundation (VAF) is to improve the quality of life of animals by advancing eye health through science and education.
To advance this mission, the foundation is inviting applications for its VAF Resident Grant Program. Through the program, grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded to ABVO-approved residents in support of research on areas of veterinary ophthalmology and the elimination of ocular diseases causing vision loss and suffering in animals.
The program supports research supplies, materials, limited equipment purchases, publication costs, and limited technical support.
To be eligible, applicants must be in an ABVO-approved residency and sponsored by an ABVO mentor.
