Philanthropy Delaware is looking for a Strategic Initiatives Coordinator.


The Strategic Initiatives Coordinator role is developed to enhance organizational capabilities. This role will support projects and the organization to deepen and broaden our impact, while leveraging existing partnerships, and ultimately ensure that Philanthropy Delaware can best serve its members. Strategic Initiatives Coordinator will support programs and projects that support the organizations’ vision and short- and long-term plans.

Overall Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assigned strategic initiatives, evaluate project plans and strategies, identify and resolve barriers to initiative success, in collaboration with the Philanthropy Delaware team.
  • Research and identify resources that could aid the development of a new initiative or practice.
  • Assist in the preparation materials on policy, program issues, and strategies for assigned initiatives; prepare summaries of discussion; identify appropriate and effective communication and dashboard indicators to leadership.
  • Support strategic relationships with staff and key partners.
  • Coordinate communication to staff, community leaders, community stakeholders, consumers, identifying influencers and champions to support the success of the organization.
  • Coordinate organizational calendars for events, programs, President and CEO and Director of Engagement.
