Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF)

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) is a private, international philanthropic organization, making grants to nonprofit organizations in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and sports, and social welfare.

All applicants must submit their grant request electronically throught the SNF Grant Portal (Detailed infromation is available in the How to Apply section below) English or Greek are the Application’s only acceptable languages.

The SNF has an open application process, and receives grant inquiries year-round. The Programs Department assesses all incoming requests, and SNF’s Board of Directors convenes regularly throughout the year.

Due to the large volume of incoming requests, the SNF, in collaboration with each applicant, aims to complete the evaluation of every proposal within three months of its submission date, unless circumstances require a longer evaluation period, based on a mutual agreement between the SNF and the applicant.
