Through the CARES Act and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), Delaware Humanities has funds available for redistribution to organizations committed to the humanities that have faced financial hardship due to the coronavirus.
- These grants are for up to $10,000.
- These grants are for operating expenses only. No match is required.
- The application will open Friday, May 1 and close Friday, May 15. If you encounter any issues applying by May 15, please contact Delaware Humanities as soon as possible.
- After May 15, organizations will be notified of amount approved, rejection, or the need for more information within 15 business days.
- Organizations will be required to sign a Grant Agreement upon notification of funding and submit a Final Report by September 30, 2020. Organizations will also be required to write a letter to their state and federal delegates. Delaware Humanities may also request occasional progress reports.
