The American Association of University Women (AAUW) works to advance educational and professional opportunities for women in the United States. The AAUW Community Action Grants program provides funds to individuals and AAUW organizations, as well as local community-based nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions, throughout the country for projects focused on encouraging girls to select, before entering college, the physical sciences or engineering as a career.
