Philanthropy Delaware invites our members and key stakeholders to learn how philanthropic leaders, such as Skillman and those within Philanthropy Delaware’s vibrant network adjusted to the pandemic to support education equity.

Guest speakers from the Skillman Foundation will discuss their recent article “Philanthropy’s Role in Education Equity and the Return to Learn: A Conversation with The Skillman Foundation .”   We will also highlight the local landscape in Delaware.

In this program, attendees will learn:

  • How have philanthropies have to adapt and evolve strategies to better support students, families and educators during the pandemic?
  • How has the pandemic created an opportunity for a clean slate to address inequities in education and beyond?
  • How are foundations uniquely positioned to address the challenges the state faces in education?
  • Rodel will highlight the local landscape in Delaware
