NWEA: Educators for Equity Grant Program

NWEAThe NWEA Educators for Equity Grant Program helps foster growth for students in the U.S. who face systemic barriers to academic opportunities. Grants of up to $10,000 are provided to educators so they can better support students and help eliminate inequity in education. Funded programs should seek to remove systemic barriers to academic success for economically disadvantaged students and students of color, including students who identify as Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, or Asian/Pacific Islander; students learning English and speaking a language other than English fluently; and students experiencing economic disadvantage. U.S. schools serving students from pre-K through 12th grade that are public schools or have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status are eligible to apply. The application deadline is June 11, 2021.
