Across every philanthropic focus, from ending homelessness to fighting poverty, government funding and public policy is bound to impact the path to achieving the mission to resolve the range of challenges and needs of a community. Private, family, and corporate foundations can play an active role in supporting transformational implementation of state and federal funds. What are examples of government and philanthropy working together as partners to achieve positive impact and addressing social sector problems? How can we learn from previous partnerships and be more effective in the future?
