Philanthropy Delaware invites our Members, and key stakeholders to learn about this quietly controversial, complicated and challenging issue impacting our State. Our panelists will share information that will help inform plausible, coordinated solutions to adequately address what is needed to combat this problem and support victims.

Guest speakers from the Delaware Human Trafficking Council, ZOE Ministries, Meet Me at the Well, The Ministry of Caring, the Salvation Army, West End Neighborhood House and Social Contract will discuss recent data on the challenge in our State, the dimensions of human trafficking, and share what currently is taking place to bring a keener focus on the priority needs to support victims.

Attendees will learn about:

• ·         The numbers --- the data that reflects the impact of human trafficking in Delaware
• ·         Efforts nationally and in Delaware  
• ·         The current state of availability of funding to address human trafficking in Delaware
• ·         4 key areas of need to adequately address the issue and the priority for assisting victims
• ·         The role philanthropy and private funding sources can play in augmenting governmental supports in operations and provision of wraparound services
