Scotiabank Corporate Giving Program supports registered charities and nonprofit organizations that operate in countries where Scotiabank does business.

The bank provides support for youth-focused programs.

Specific interests consist of:

• improving the quality of and access to education;
• improving mental health and fostering the development of positive behaviors;
• building living spaces that are safe, resilient, and free of toxins;
• creating vibrant, nurturing, and inclusive communities;
• improving physical health and encouraging a health lifestyle; and,
• providing resources and support to families.

Support is not provide to/for:

• religious groups, unless providing a secular service open to all;
• advocacy groups, political organizations, or lobbying activities; 
• individuals; 
• fraternities, 12-step programs, lodges, or other self-improvement organizations or societies where participation is intended primarily for the personal advancement of benefit of the participant; 
• direct mail solicitations; 
• registration fees; 
• private (fee-based) elementary or secondary schools; 
• conferences; or,
• advertising or promotional initiatives.
